JOB OBJECTIVE

Seeking a Medical Lab Technician or Phlebotomist position where my professional knowledge, attention to clients’

WORK EXPERIENCE

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN/PHLEBOTMIST

Administer, collect, allocate, process and handle blood drawing from patients. Geriatric and pediatric blood

draws.

Supervise collection o blood draws and specimen to ensure lab requisition forms match tubes.

Conduct lab tests in the areas of hematology, urinalysis, immunology and chemistry.

Report test results within the scope of testing methods and responsibilities.

Stringently follow lab protocols, sanitation standards and testing procedures.

Assist in lab maintenance, quality assurance and quality control.

MEDICAL OFFICE

Heavy phones, data entry, processing mail, appointments, records, verifications and scheduling.

Maintain all files and documentation. All internal/external communications via phone, fax, email, etc.

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, report and discuss observations with healthcare professionals.

Knowledge of managed care principles, regulations, HIPAA and other relevant laws.

Claims, preauthorization, eligibility and explanation of benefits.

Experienced in medical office duties: equipment, files and confidential documentation.

Explanation of treatments and procedures; preparation of treatment rooms, tools and equipment.

Maintain a clean, safe organized, structured and efficient work environment.

HOME HEALTH AIDE/CAREGIVER

Monitor procedures, create and follow schedules, change cloths, prepare and serve meals.

Bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding. Measuring and recording food and liquid intake.

Check patient’s vital signs, pulse, temperature and respiration.

Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, and assisting with personal care.

Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs and automobiles.

Promote optimistic outlook and successful life skills. Engaged clients in activities to promote vitality and health.

Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert.

Cultivate a well-balanced supportive environment where each client receives quality attention.
