OBJECTIVE: To obtain a career in hvac distribution. Use my vast knowledge of business and air conditioning to
build a territory with a strong customer base by way of honesty and integrity while also making a profit.
QUALIFICATIONS: Over the last two years I have been operating and managing a residential and commercial
geothermal heating and air conditioning company. I started this company with no sales and in the first
year sales topped $1,000,000. This year our sales will top $1,200,000. I have built a loyal following of
customers and contractors, which we do geothermal piping for. The two years prior to that I managed the
residential and service departments for a large mechanical contractor in the Triangle. Under my leadership
sales profitability increased 4000% and service profitability increased 30%. My experiences managing
salesmen, installation crews, service techs, and office personnel has given me the knowledge I need to
operate a profitable company. Before working as a contractor, I worked for a HVAC distributor as a
territory manager and a branch manager. The last two years there I functioned as a territory manager for
the Raleigh-Durham market. In 2009 I was named the Territory Manager of the Year, increasing sales in
my territory from $600,000 to $4,000,000 in a two year period. The three years before that I had been
working as the branch manager. Since taking the position, the branch went from a loss to a double digit net
profit percentage. I also served as the sales manager for eastern North Carolina overseeing 3 salesmen
and a sub distributor. Our sales increased over thirty percent and our gross margin has increased by six
percent. I have attended extensive sales and management training courses that pertain to the HVAC
industry. I have also been the owner of three businesses and after building them into a thriving business,
sold them for a profit. With my HVAC background, management experience, and being a former
business owner, I can be a extremely valuable resource. With my experience I will be able to develop a
strong profitable company while providing a valuable service to the community.

zero sales and grew to $1,00,000 in the first year. Year two is on target for $1,200,000 in
sales. We have a service department with several commercial and residential service
contracts. We also have grown our reputation to serve as a “problem fixer” for
ClimateMaster installations.
2010-2012 Residential Manager, Warren-Hay Mechanical Contractors, Inc.
Responsible for sales, service, installation, and office management. Created a geothermal
department with sales of $1,400,000 in the first year and a half. Increased residential
replacement and new construction profitability over $400,000 in the last year. Implemented
flat rate service and increased profitability of service by $300,000. Service also increased
service contract sales by more than 300 new customers.
2008-2009 Territory Manager, Virginia Air Distributors, Inc.
Responsible for sales and accounts receivable within a given territory. Grew a territory with
sales of $600,000 in 2007 to sales of $4,000,000 by the end of 2009. Developed a residential
dealer base and also maintained a good working relationship with commercial contractors.

Constructed new single family homes and home renovation projects the Harnett county area.
Closed due to economy.

Responsible for the sales, operations, and profitability for the Raleigh and Eastern North
Carolina territory. I acted as sales manager and lead the inside support staff in day to day
operations. We more than double sales, increased profitability, and grew our customer base.

and off-road motorcycle and atv suspension and motors. In my short time in business, I had
several national riders that used our products and built a very loyal customer base.
