Supervisor
Supervises about 70 employees to assure that all mail is encoded, sorted, and placed in
the correct bin for the United States Post Office (USPS). The encoders process mail by
placing each individual piece of mail onto a weigh machine, scan the piece of mail’s
barcode so that another barcode is printed and placed onto the mail serving as a stamp so
that the USPS will deliver the mail to the right city, state, and customer. The sorters sort the
mail by alphabetical letters into a bin that this assigned for a certain letter then transferred
to the frames which these employees sort mail into postal bags depending on the letter
and number assigned to a particular zip code. Once the bags are full they are transferred to
the bag tossing are which these employees verify the label on the bag which consists of the
zipcode for each city the mail is being delivered. The bags are tossed in an assigned bin
that is placard for each zipcode

SUPERVISOR FOR RECEIVING, INVENTORY, AND SHIPPING
RECEIVING DUTIES: Scheduled incoming freight which included Computer Monitors,
Cases, Printers, TV’s, Laptops, Speakers, Burners, and all other accessories that can
build or repair a computer, made sure employees count all incoming freight piece by
piece (no pallet count) checking piece count versus BOL, made sure all freight was
processed correctly by checking model number versus the purchase order model
number and made sure all processed freight is put into the assigned location by
scanning it in with a PDA (RF Scanner) while riding a reach truck or sit down forklift.
INVENTORY DUTIES: Managed the warehouse quarterly Inventory by organizing the
product that’s going to be counted, compiling teams to count the product, input all data
into system during the physical inventory and adjusted the discrepancies in the system if
needed, and compiled the final report and sent it to corporate office.
SHIPPING DUTIES: Dropped orders into ring scanner (RF GUN) and made sure all
processed orders are picked and tacked on a pallet properly so that they are shipped
accurately and timely manner so that all customers orders are fulfilled. After all orders
are shipped the pallet is checked to see if the shipping label is affixed to each item on
the pallet before moving the pallet to UPS/FedEx loading stations.
OTHER DUTIES: Managed productivity for each department, sent in temporary time to
payroll, evaluations, order supplies, and interviewed all new hires. I also managed the
warehouse so that it could be a CLEAN and SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT. Safety and
Housekeeping is a must for a safe warehouse.

ORDER PICKER/SUPERVISOR
ORDER PICKER RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick orders to fulfill customers orders accurately
and in a timely manner using a RF scan gun while driving a forklift. In 2002, I was
promoted to shipping lead where I took on responsibilities in assisting the supervisor with
dropping orders and making sure all orders were fulfilled. Then in 2003, I was promoted to
Shipping supervisor.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Made sure all order were fulfilled to satisfy
customers needs in a timely manner, made sure that the quality control team verify that
all items was correct on all orders that were to be shipped before being loaded onto
assigned truck versus the BOL, and made that all freight that was to be shipped is
counted, verified by QC and driver before the freight is loaded onto assigned truck.

MATERIAL HANDLER
MATERIAL HANLER DUTIES: Replenished assembly line with all necessary products to
build armrest which included driving forklifts to replenish product. Removed all finished
goods to assigned locations so that products could be pulled and shipped. I also worked
on the assembly line using the air gun to connect the lid to the bun which completed the
assembly of the armrest.
