SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS
Enhanced existing QMS and mentored Management staff at various levels in
Disciplined Problem-solving Processes at Elkhart Brass Manufacturing.
Implemented objective measurement of external complaints and Disciplined
Problem-solving Process for Corrective Actions at Elkhart Brass leading to
significant improvements in failure modes.
Reduced customer complaints by 75% and third party sort costs by more than
65% within first six months at MPI.
Implemented and achieved both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2000 registration while
at Boramco.
Dramatically reduced customer complaints with Boramco's largest customer
thereby achieving significant savings in quality costs.
Started with an empty building and opened the new Troy Facility for Peterson
Spring. Oversaw development and implementation of plans to bring facility into
full compliance with Ford Q1-2002, TS-16969, ISO-14001, and MMOG
requirements.
W hile Plant Manager at Peterson Spring – Three Rivers, negotiated significant
union concessions to UAW contract.
Hired at Camshaft Machine Company as Supervisor for a new automated
production line for Ford 3.8 Liter camshafts. Worked with Engineering and hourly
personnel to bring this on-line and up to full production. Promoted to Quality
management as a direct result of problem-solving efforts on the line.
