Responsibilities and duties are for the preservation of hotel property, the safety of our guests, our

patrons and outside clients. We are assigned to one of three separate posts on each shift, including a

roaming post, throughout the entire hotel. I participate in hotel training, employee meetings and

security training courses on an annual base.

Organizational Impact Contributions:

Supervises as Fire Safety Director daily and on the weekends, as Senior House Officer.

Responsible in playing a key role for hotel public relations towards guest and patrons.

Duties include protection for celebrities, foreign dignitaries, U.S. Senators, U.S. Congress people and

corporate CEO’s whom are staying in the hotel.

Maintain the daily logs as Senior House Officer, the Fire Command Station and call into the hotel

online security system per shift.

Inspects and maintain all the fire extinguishers throughout the building, stand pipes and sprinkler

systems on 55 floors and 3 sub basements.

Responsible for the security of 4 in-hotel bars, two lobby lounges, one outside courtyard, 14 banquets

suites (equaling 26,000 sq ft) and 909 guest rooms (including the 176 exclusive Tower Suites) within

the 55 stories of the hotel on a daily bases. The interior space covers 1.2 million square feet.

Certified EAP Director with onsite to schedule.

Responsible to be Impairment Coordinator during emergencies both inside and out of the building.

Responsible for writing reports for lost and found, hotel, guest or employee incidents, the fire brigade

training and the fire drill training.

Inspects employee bags and items leaving the building after each shift.

Secures and maintains the hotel loading dock for vendors, contractors, event deliveries and employee

public safety.

DEPUTY FIRE SAFETY DIRECTOR 2011-2012

new security officers for posts, maintained a personal log daily, and secured international Business

Executives and VIP’s from around the world.
