As an employee of Lee Brass, I’ve performed a wide range of duties to include weight changing,
pouring brass, receiving, storing, selecting, and or shipping general or specialized bulk and bin materials
and equipment. Independently load and unload materials, check, assemble, and process documents, and
routes materials and equipment to correct location or storage areas using the automated supply system.
Locate and access, loaded and moved material for shipment and verified or prepare documents either
manually or by using automated equipment such as computer terminals and bar code wands to read,
store, track, and prepare materials documentation. I have performed research on inventory discrepancies
and imbalances that were identified through customer complaint, warehouse denials and physical
inventory counts. I have processed Discrepancy Reports through research and resolution, determined the
cause of discrepancies and made the appropriate adjustments to correct the inventory records. I have
shown the ability to Investigate, gather information and perform analysis reports and communicate
orally and in writing to my Supervisor. Loaded and unloaded shipments from trucks and other material
conveyances using forklifts, manual and mechanized pallet and mechanized pallet jacks, side loaders,
stacker cranes, and automated guided vehicles in mechanized warehouses. Update databases using
supply catalogs, and commercial vendor catalogs to locate identification data for processes and requests.
Knowledge of remote terminals and keyboards to receive and transmit data into a central computer.
Handle hazardous material stored in the hazardous material area as required. Perform operator
maintenance on automated equipment and materials handling equipment. Packed and repacked a variety
of tools, parts, equipment and other items by wrapping, placing, arranging and cushioning them in
specified prefabricated cartoons, boxes, crates, and other packing materials and devices, and tapping,
stapling, banding, sealing and labeling containers. Select containers, protective devices, and cushioning
materials taking into consideration such factors as size, type, weight, fragility, mode of transportation,
and destination of items. Attend and occasionally facilitated scheduled special program meetings that
identify continuous improvement efforts, Health and Safety of the workforce, immediate, and strategic
focus and goals determined by my superiors. Work daily without more than normal supervision
reporting any problems that may arise o my Supervisor. I have the ability to interpret instructions and
specifications given by my supervisor.
As a work leader over three or more employees. I plain and schedule work assignments for the
accomplishment of task within schedule and priorities established by higher level supervisors. Analyzes
work, determine manpower, tools, material requirements and methods to be used. Establish deadlines,
priorities and work sequences to be followed. Plans work assignments considering processes,
availability of manpower and equipment, establish deadlines and other work projects. Determines work
assignments to be done concurrently and which can be delayed. Changes the tasks assigned to workers
and redirect the use of resources within the area of responsibility. Assigns work to individual workers by
verbal or written instructions. Indicates methods to be used, explains difficult technical requirements to
be performed and demonstrates difficult or unusual work processes to employees. Serves as trouble-
shooter for problems related to molding, processing and pouring processes of brass and or locating
material. Perform routine and complex research in order to expedite issuing and or processing material,
which has been improperly processed at some point, either due to system problems or human error.
Corrects receipt processing errors, processing picks, exceptions, customer cancellations, change notices.
Used management systems, regulations, automated systems, technical manuals, and other sources to
verify items that have been improperly picked or packed. Identify and assigns condition classifications
to a wide range of items. Performs packing functions based upon load of shipment or special packing
instructions. Performs individual and consolidated repacking of a variety of items using any range of
accepted packing materials, devices, methods, techniques, etc. Ensures that preventative maintenance on
vehicles and equipment used by employees is performed, i.e., check lights, tires, brakes, fuel, oil, horn,
and water level. On occasion, I load and unload vehicles and containers using appropriate materials
handling equipment. Performs as needed research and analysis when discrepancies are identified as a
result of physical inventories, denials, and warehouse refusals. Documents all investigative procedures
and follow up with affected areas to prevent future discrepancies. Conduct investigations when record
imbalances, losses, and or problems appear related to lost material. Determine the cause of record
imbalances through collection, analysis, and evaluation of factors contributing to the inventory
adjustment. Assists in evaluating and analyzing trends of imbalanced items by isolating contributing
inconsistencies and verifies with historical data. Provide recommendations required for developing
solutions for correcting the imbalances, determines cause and remedial actions to preclude future
occurrence.
As a Department Manager/Manufacturing Manager/Flour Supervisor my responsibilities include
monitoring productivity in my assigned area, performing independent analysis to ensure standards are
maintained and to ensure resource stewardship. Evaluating and resolving work flow issues before they
impact production levels. Determine and report inadequacies of personnel, materials handling
equipment, physical facilities, work methods and techniques, and other operational deficiencies that
prevent proper receipt, handling, and physical control of material.
Attended, and occasionally facilitated scheduled special program meetings that identify continuous
improvement efforts, Health and Safety of the workforce, immediate, and strategic focus and goals
determined from the Site Manager, Facilities Manager and QC Team, and higher authority. Council
members review results of audits, observations, suggested corrective actions and process improvements
initiatives. Made recommendations and are accountable and responsible for the assigned programs
including development, documentation, and operation of both internal processes and administrative
controls. As a manager I actively participated in evaluating and refining processes to achieve increased
productivity, presented and submitted findings, and made recommendations that assisted in planning,
directing, and coordinating plant operations ensuring that safety and security requirements are met.
Communicated orally and in writing to provide inputs and feedback to senior management for inclusion
in operational and Situation Reports.

As a Motor Vehicle operator. I operate a variety of motor vehicles in the Army Reserve. I drive vehicles
throughout the installation, US highways and Deployed locations; wheel- mounted tractors, towed or
with attached equipment. The work includes transporting, on-loading and off-loading equipment. I use
fork lifts capable of lifting 10,000 pounds or more to load and unload heavy equipment on/off aircraft. I
can operate vans, stock selectors, stake trucks, tractor trailer, special purpose transporter and other
vehicles which may have a gross vehicle weight of more than 10,000 pounds up to 38,000 pounds. I
drive vehicles throughout the installation to pick up and/or deliver local purchase, priority, and routine
items from central receiving, local customer turn-ins, various material and supplies. I obtain signature
for loads where signature services is required. I complete trip reports and fill out reports in case of an
accident. Report progress of trip to dispatcher at predetermined intervals (arrival, begin loading, delays,
etc.). In addition, I secure the cargo with tie downs to prevent movement/shifting of loads, and mark
dangerous, hazardous and flammable or flag all protruding cargo with placards or reflection lights and I
ensure that vehicle is not loaded beyond the rated capacity. I operate tractor trailer on public roads in a
full range of traffic conditions. Operate trucks, pickups and other vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of
less than 26,000 pounds both on and off the installation, over public roads in all types of traffic and in
congested industrial areas. Operate electric, gasoline or diesel powered fork lift trucks which are capable
of lifting loads weighing 10,000 pounds or more, higher than 168 inches. I operate fork lift trucks over
asphalt, concrete or similar type floors through narrow aisles in buildings and in confined areas. I have
worked on airlift teams which require me to follow the loadmaster's directions for moving, positioning,
and guiding cargo into and out of aircraft while operating necessary material handling equipment. I
perform driver maintenance in accordance with established regulations and procedures, assuring all
MHE equipment is ready for use at all times. Ensures that the Command's quality and timeliness goals
are met by performing core workload duties.
