United States Navy -Military Police July 2006- January 2014
Provides career counseling for the department of 130 sailors helping
personnel make reasonable goals and achieve them, educate and provide
resources to better themselves personally and professionally. Requires the
ability to effectively communicate with all personality types, be familiar
with software programs such as excel, power point, and Microsoft word. Have
impeccable time management skills and ability to input data, to include
proper filing of personal information.
Supervises a shift of 32 sailors executing the safety and security of
various Naval installations, providing customer service for all visitors,
government, and military personnel entering the installation. Executes
effective personnel management to ensure the mission is properly met.
Trained as a first responder to administer basic first aid/CPR, and
counseling for injured personnel, victims of violence, and those who
attempt to harm themselves.
Radys Children's Hospital ED Volunteer May 2013- Present
Provide customer service to children and parents in the waiting area of the
emergency room. Basic responsibilities include checking with charge nurse
for updates on patients; provide appropriate materials to make patients
more comfortable. Properly sanitize patient rooms to prevent spread of
illness.
Stock all rooms with appropriate materials to assist nurses and doctors
with an effective workspace for patients. Being familiar with medical
materials and terminology is required.

National University BS Public Health/track in Nursing August 2012-
Present
Currently completing pre-requirements for application into nursing
program in April 2014. Currently posses 162 college credits meeting all
general and elective requirements with a 3.56 over all grade point
average. Completed Bio Medical Statistics, Microbiology, and Anatomy and
Physiology I, Anatomy and Phsiology II, providing knowledge of medical
terminology.
