Work Experience
Apr 2013-Present Working at the Brantford Hospital as a Nutritional
Service Aide. Duties include working in the kitchen on various positions
preparing patients meal time trays. Once trays are delivered and cooked we
then deliver the trays. Once trays are delivered an enough time is given
for patients to eat, I then pick trays back up and return back to the
kitchen to wash all dishes and trays.
Nov 2011-Present Working at the Woodstock Hospital as a Dietary
Aide. Duties include working in 3 of the Dining Rooms that we currently
have. I also deliver food trays to patients who aren't able to get out of
their rooms or who don't have a dining room options. I also work in the
kitchen on the tray line preparing the trays.
Sept 2011-Nov 2011/July 2012-2013 Working a temporary position at the
Woodstock Hospital in the Health Records Department as a Release of
Information Clerk. Duties included: Dealing with all persons including
Lawyers, Police Officers, Doctors Offices, WSIB, Insurance Companies and
many others who would want information on a person. I would have to make
sure that all documents were properly filled out and signed for release.
Experience with Cerner Software
2008-Sept 2011 Working in a Dental Office as a Dental
Receptionist/Front desk Manager. Duties include: Running the morning
reports for the night before day end. Handling and answering external as
well as internal phone calls. Checking patients in and billing them out at
end of their visit. Setting up the patient's next appointments.
Processing medical insurance claims, medical billing and electronic claims
and incorporating correct coding procedures. Responsible for Accounts
Receivable and making sure all accounts are up to date. Taking care of all
pre-determinations that are coming in and that need to go out to Insurance
Companies. Pulling charts for the next day and filing charts for the
current day.

2006-2008 I worked for Dr Baby and Dr Rojas as an Appointment
Coordinator/Financial Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator at an Orthodontic
Office. Duties included: Greeting patients in a positive and professional
manner, projecting a courteous and professional public image. Ensure that
office policy and guidelines are understood and followed by patients.
Answer multi-line phones, screen and direct calls. Collecting past due
accounts and taking necessary steps to make sure all accounts are up to
date. Must be completely accurate when dealing with the financials on a
software program called Orthotrac and using discretion when handling
patient financial accounts. Responsible for month end reports such as:
preparation of patient financial reports, patient statements, preparation
and completion of Electronic Funds transferred twice monthly. Take part in
the New Patient Exams and Consultations. Responsible for making the
indirect bonding trays and all other lab work that may be involved.
2000-2005 I worked at Sparton Electronics as an Electrical
Assembler.
1987-2000 Retail Sales/Customer Service in various locations.
