EXPERIENCE:
2/13 to Present: Johnson Controls Inc. - Billings, MT
Montana Service Manager
I am in charge of 17 service technicians which cover the
state of Montana. I am responsible for the customer
accounts, planned service agreements, labor and material
projects. I am also involved in the financials, cost
management, labor forecasting, performance reviews and all
of the branch compliance for safety. I supervise the truck
base fleet, inventory, planning and execution of work. I
handle talent acquisition and employee retention, assist in
development planning and training for the service techs. I
am charged with five team goals, which are Reach the Gold
Safety Standard, Net Promoter Score, PSA GM%, L&M GM
dollars and the planned service agreement renewals.
5/06 to 2/13:
MacDonald- Miller Facility Solutions - Seattle, Washington
Seattle Business Manager
I was in charge of 4.2 million dollars of HVAC service
agreement base with approximately 19 million dollar project
base. My major focus was maintaining the existing service
agreements while still bringing in new service agreements.
I oversaw all the service agreements and I was responsible
for customer retention, service agreement performance and
pricing. I still cold called, brought in new business and
handled all adds and deducts from our large existing
customer base. My 30 years of experience working in the
HVAC industry with different mechanical contractors has
broadened my career expertise. I have a good understanding
of the HVAC service business and how it works. I know what
it takes to sell service maintenance agreements and
projects and have firm understanding on how to make them
profitable.
11/00 to 5/06: ACCO Engineered Systems - Kent, Washington
Project Manger
I sold projects that ranged from $3,000 to $400,000. At
ACCO, I also sold service maintenance agreements, medium to
large tenant improvement projects, in the Greater Seattle
Area. I sold everything from compressor outs, unit
replacements to chiller rebuilds. I was a straight
commission sales person while I worked at ACCO. I
estimated, purchased and scheduled my own work. I have been
involved in many sheet metal and piping projects. Most of
my projects were considered fast tracked with a small time
frame. I have dealt with engineers, architects, owners,
industrial customers and property managers in many of these
sales processes. I was a successful asset for ACCO in the
Seattle market place.
2/97 to 11/00: Temp Control Mechanical Service - Lacey, Washington
General Manger 1/00 to11/00
Senior Sales Engineer 2/97 to 1/00
I provided on-site evaluation of new projects, design-duct
sizing, drafting, equipment selection, estimates, product
knowledge, development of proposals and set sales goals. I
sold approximately 1.2 to 1.4 million dollars each year I
was a project manager. I also sold commercial and
industrial preventive service maintenance agreements. I
developed new accounts and was able to communicate the
importance of proper maintenance. TCMS is a LINC Service
network franchiser for Pierce and Thurston counties. I was
very successful working with in their guidelines. I was
Rookie of the year for selling the most dollar volume in
projects within the LINC Service network.
3/93 to 2/97: Divco Energy Control - Spokane, Washington
Technical Assistance Corporation - Billings, MT
Account Manager/General Manager
I sold commercial and industrial preventive maintenance
agreements, all aspects of heating and air conditioning
projects and retrofits. I performed on-site evaluations,
estimating, selling and scheduling the service work. I
developed new accounts by cold calling, making phone
appointments and working old accounts. In, November of
1993, Divco Energy Control purchased Technical Assistance
Corporation; a HVAC service and boiler contractor. Through
the purchase I was transferred to Billings, MT and was
promoted to Sales/ General Manager. I developed a $40,000 a
year service agreement base to a $260,000 service agreement
base in 18 months. I also took the project division from an
$80,000 a year in sales to $500,000 in the same 18 months.
