CAD Drafter, space planner, Job assignment at “Zodiac Aerospace”

Duties:

• I sketch up drawings and generate them into Cad files on AutoCAD 2013 and Solid

works 2013, for various projects in the Facility operations department.

• Develop designs for new production line’s infrastructure, which consist of electrical

branch circuits, electrical receptacle drops, air supply, and vacuum supply etc,

anything a specific production assembly line needs to operate.

• I maintain a revised and updated technical data specs, equipment list of all assets and

tools, per every manufacturing line and dept. throughout the facility.

• My Cad Drafting duties revolve around basic knowledge of electrical systems, voice

& Data systems, compressed air distribution, vacuum lines, office and shop space

planning.

• I collaborate with the engineering dept and assist in various design projects for ATP

Testing stations for manufacturing process and projects for the Research and

Development Dept. per Engineer’s direction and specs.

• Coordinate projects with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

• I do perform cad duties in multiply areas, Mechanical, electrical, architecture floor

plans, details, and electronic schematic plans.

Senior CAD Drafter

Duties:

• Generated Architecture plans into Cad files on AutoCAD and prepared construction

documents for building dept presentations for design review boards and city

submittal for building permits.

• Developed Architecture plans cad files for various projects by creating xref files,

using dynamic blocks, we used lisp routines to navigate thru the various stages of a

plan.

• Blocked out design team sketches to its preliminary stages, to a 100% complete set

of documents which included floor plans, foundations, roof, section, elevation,

details, and electrical plans.

• Generated presentation files and brochures files sfor KB Home’s Architecture design

models.
