As you will note, I am seeking a position as a Middle School Teacher that will utilize the extensive

experience that I gained during my ten years with the Dekalb County School System where I served as a

5th Grade Teacher, Gifted Students Teacher, Math Specialist, 2 nd Grade Teacher, and Kindergarten Teacher.

I also have experience as a 5 th Grade Teacher for the City of Atlanta School System and History Teacher

(Special Education Grades 9-11), Middle School English, Writing, & History Teacher for the Prince

George’s County, Maryland School System, and 6th Grade Teacher for the Washington, D.C. School System.

Recently, as a 5th Grade Teacher for Hawthorne Elementary in Atlanta, Georgia, I taught Science, Social

Studies, and Writing in a departmentalized classroom setting. I also served as the Sponsor of the Junior Beta

Club.

I have State of Georgia Grades P-5 (All Subjects) and State of Georgia Grades 4-8 (Language Arts and

Social Studies) Certifications.
