BIO:

My name is Robert Alan Johns, am 54 years old, born in Orleans, France to first generation American parents, William J. Johns (Jianakoplos), 100% Greek descent, and Virginia Marie Johns (Mangiarotti), 100% Italian descent. Though my residency is currently in Peru, I am an American citizen and I live both there and in the United States. I travel internationally approximately 30 weeks a year for my Consulting and Commodity business, World Harvest And Trade, LLC. The Growing Company, Inc., WHAT Films Productions, LLC, and International Business Consulting for Estudio Flint Abogados in San Isidro, Peru, I currently paralegal with Repasky & Repasky, Attorneys at Law (New York, Georgia, Florida). My uncle Steven Jianakoplos was an Illinois Judge and my Cousin Steven Jianakoplos is an Illinois, and Missouri lawyer. I have over the past year completed Paralegal I & II through CLS @ Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York, Advanced Legal Research & Writing @ the University of Georgia continuing education, 4 Westlaw certifications, and am currently working on the last two courses of the Advanced Paralegal Certification Course @ the University of Georgia continuing education. Legal career aspirations are to complete this advanced paralegal course, study for my LSAT, and apply to law school, where I hope to pass the J.D. and bar in the state of either New York or Georgia. I want to use my legal training to assist me in my work of international business and trading.

I have been an entrepreneur since 17 years old. I started my first business, The Growing Company, Inc., a specialty mushroom, mushroom spawn, marketing, sales, distribution, engineering, design, research and development, and consulting business in 1977. Legal work associated with the corporation has been incorporation, licensing, intellectual property, taxes, franchising, affiliation licensing, consulting, employee issues, property right issues, zoning, legislation, rural revitalization issues, economic reform issues, workman's compensation, voluntary dissolution. Currently, the corporation is in a "coma" due to a major laboratory fire which occurred on the ides of March 2007. We are still battling the insurance company for full replacement value of the business, which was materially destroyed after 30 years of operation. The company worked closely with the State of Georgia and in a joint effort wrote the Georgia Specialty Mushroom Feasibility Study to provide alternative farming opportunities to all Georgians and especially South Georgia peanut farmers who receive government subsidies not to produce peanuts. Please see: http://www.fcs.uga.edu/hace/docs/MushroomReportWeb.pdf

For 8 years I worked as a private consulting to Baxter Industries, healthcare, which changed corporate ownership 5 times during my consultant contract. There, I invented 3 major products for their corporation, used in both the mushroom and healthcare (medical supply) industries, which terminated with their circumventing my work, and avoiding payment of significant royalties by using a different corporate flag in Europe to slightly modify and sell these products to major product users. This resulted in a Federal Court Case which I commenced against DRG, based on Good Faith and Best Effort violations. I won unanimously in Federal Court by 12 jurors. Six months later the case was JNOVed by the judge and I appealed. I lost in the appeal.

I started my film business, Corner Productions in 1980, which was dissolved and then incarnated as my current documentary business WHAT Films Productions, LLC. This business originally made music videos for Athens, Georgia music groups in which some were aired on MTV. Principal producers were the famous alternative rock group, R.E.M.'s then manager, Jefferson Holt through a private record label, Dog-Gone Records. The company worked with Aguar Video Productions (AVP) who produced R.E.M.'s first alternative rock video. This led into a 4 year career in flat cell, multi-planer animated film productions.

Years later the company, regrouped as ASAP/WHAT association. WHAT is has currently produced two documentaries, one on Colombian Coffee Industry, and the other the story of WaWa Feliz, a story about an American/French couple who left all of their worldly possessions to move to Huancayo, Peru to the high Andes mountains to build a water birthing clinic as an alternative way to birth. The shortened version is currently being marketed as an 8-episode Series. With this business, I dealt with incorporation, licensing, intellectual property, health laws of Peru with the Ministrio de Salud (Ministry of Health), film rights, participant disclosures, employment contracts, work visas.

Estudio Flint Abogados, is a strong law firm located in San Isidro, Lima, Peru, in which I conducted paralegal work, consulting and operating international business negotiations, contract law, commissions, export law, customs, taxes, and business visas. Further, I was involved with one Peruvian Presidential election.

As co-founder and director of Tierra Inca, Parque Thematico y Parque Adventura, essentially the first South American theme park on the level of Disney World I worked with Attorney Dr. Pinkas Flint Blanck, and Bob McTyre of Apogee Attractions, former designer of the Epcot Center, and V.P. of Disney for 30 years. Together we did title deed searches and procurement of land to build the $1.5 billion phase one project. I worked with Peruvian law to understand building contracts, licensing, entertainment contracts, employee contracts, property taxes, and stayed in constant negotiations with the local council members, as well as the federal government. Project is waiting second round of funding. I copyrighted all works under my name and Bob McTyre's name here in the USA.

Revolutions, Resorts and Casinos, I worked as a facilitator which essentially negotiated investor contracts and commitments. Most legal work was contract or commission contract in nature.

I formed World Harvest And Trade, LLC, as a import/export business for internationally traded agricultural products, but it has since grown into a known facilitator, of gold, copper, coal, iron production deals. We principally, find producers and investors and put them together as short-term joint venture partners, or long-term share holders. The deals are set up to bring in investment for known reliable producers and the production of this investments yield commodity product for sale. These products, mostly gold doré these days is then contracted to buyers in China, the UAE, the USA and/or India. Most of the legal work is international business contract law between the countries in South America, West Africa and the aforementioned countries. The work often involves buy/sell agreements, concession rights, investigation into property titles, (all in Spanish). The other legal work involves assisting with work visas, writing letters to all parties involved in each deal, negotiation work. I usually write the contracts and translate them into the language of whichever country requires that service. Then I pass it to the respective country's embassy for official translations. I walk all contracts through the notary process and signatory process. I often go to the mines and procure the gold and walk it through all legal documentation, customs and export.
