Project 1:

TITLE: COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF OXYGEN COMPRESSOR AND SEALING SYSTEMS IN AIR

SEPARATION PLANT.

TEAM SIZE: We, a team of 6 did a project at VIZAG STEEL PLANT.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We had an overview of all branches in Vizag Steel Plant and specially

Air Separation of plant. We did a detail study of Oxygen Compressor and

Sealing Systems in Air Separation Plant.

Project 2:

TITLE: STUDY OF FACTORS EFFECTING SURFACE ROUGHNESS IN END MILLING

PROCESS USING FACTORIAL TECHNIQUE

TEAM SIZE: We, a team of 4 did the project at ANITS COLLEGE, VISAKHAPATNAM.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

In the present work the effect of various process parameters speed,

feed, depth of cut and machining condition on the surface roughness in End

milling process is investigated by using factorial technique.

WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS:

> Attended a two day workshop on Embedded system and Robotics conducted

by ROBO TECH LABS PVT.LTD during September,2011 at the event

TECHNOZION'11 in NIT Warangal.

> Attended a one day workshop on 'Welding for economic fabrication,

repair and maintenance in industries' on 10th September 2011 at Steel

plant, Visakhapatnam.

> Presented a paper on "FUEL ENERGIZER" in the JNTU Kakinada on the

event TORQUE 12.
