Oversaw implementation of Risk Management within the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental
Management (EM) for the $6B American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) portfolio, as well as applying
methodologies to the $6B per year base program. The work on the ARRA portfolio saved DOE EM approximately $300M
in contingency, which was subsequently funded to additional projects. Collateral duties consisted of assisting internal
development of an IT risk tool, including oversight into the software development life cycle (SDLC), as well as oversight

requirements. Evaluated design, structural, and performance of solid propellant rocket systems, as well as coordinating
production to meet customer deliverables.
1 Coordinated the test of the Kinetic Energy Intercept (KEI) second stage rocket motor, which was the
most powerful and intensive test ever done at this site. This was also done with input from approximately fifty
(50) customers, and the unprecedented success of this undertaking led to being hired by one of the clients
(Raytheon).
2 Managed procurement (MRP), cost (P&L), scheduling (IMS), performance, and earned value (EVMS)
to ensure contractual compliance.
3 Met schedule requirements of products using MS Project, and embellished metrics for performance.

Center optimization based on P&L assessments of key target areas.
1 Integrated databases between work queues to track and flag Office of Currency Control (OCC)
requirements, reducing costs incurred by defaulting customer issues, saving $20MM per year.
2 Upgraded Call Center Management software and procedures to resolve customer issues with “one
contact resolution,” resulting in $2MM per year savings in operational costs.
3 Spearheaded Marketing Analysis group to use the Call Center database to target market share, allowing
for cost savings in postage and labor.
4 Created and implemented Internal Issue Tracking and Resolution System (software) to resolve internal
issues effectively, resulting in increased productivity and business expansion. This system also led to increased
visibility of system integration and process needs.
5 Mapped current process flows to identify short and long term opportunities for process improvement

6 Implemented Image Capture Project to bring vendor functionality in house, saving $50,000 per month

without requiring any module structure changes (mitigated risk greatly).

including initial product design and testing. Integral knowledge of recording head mechanical and electrical performance,
as well as electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety and clean room environments.
• Recognized as an exceptional distributed team leader, supervising up to 30 personnel in various cross-
functional teams. Worked as a remote regional manager for the Thailand production facilities, including SCM
and MRP coordination.
• Achieved a production throughput in excess of 3 million parts per week (~$15 MM per week) at a yield
of 96% at functional test. This benchmark has never been surpassed.
• Conducted statistical analysis of test data, using ORACLE, SAS, SQL, MathCAD, Excel and MiniTAB,
to proactively interdict product issues before they became customer impacting.

from only the prototype.
