NATURE OF JOB:
1. Conducting Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for occupational.
2. Safety and Environment covering all the procedures activate and areas of the plant.
3. Implementing the Operational Control procedure to eliminate the Risk.
4. Creating awareness to the employees about the risk and their controls.
5. Conducting Emergency Preparation and response drills as per the Safety plain
6. Must wear the personal protective equipments as provided / asked like Safety Shoes,
Helmet, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Mask / Gas Mask, Eye Protection etc.
7. Provide emergency response officials with details of the problem upon their arrival.
8. Immediately call Fire Brigade and report the incident.
9. Record preparation, Maintenance, Retention, and Access
10. Accident Investigation and Corrective Action
11. Investigation of the employee’s work activities and of the working environment to which
the injury or illness might be related.
12. An accident takes place in which readily available Personal protective equipment (PPE)
is inadequate to ensure worker safety.
13. Evacuate the area, securing entrances and providing assistance to others on the way out.
14. Defective and damaged equipment. Defective or damaged personal protective equipment
shall not be used and he shall ensure that all personal protective equipment under his
control conform to the relevant Standard Specification or equivalent standard.
15. The proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE.
16. Employees working over or near water where the danger of drowning exists shall be
provided with approved life jacket or buoyant work vests.
17. Men working at height must wear standard safety belt of approved quality.
18. Persons doing material handling jobs, gas cutting, welding or operating paving breakers
should wear hand glove prescribed for respective job.
19. Fire fighting equipment of proper type to be used while working, where there is a chance
of the hazard.
20. Have sound knowledge of fire fighting.

1. All safety appliances should be properly maintained and periodically serviced to maintain
its original strength.
