Work Experience

Quality & Production Supervisor – Oct. 2007 to Oct.2012

Titan International, Inc, Cinnaminson, NJ

Responsibilities

I was initially hired as an administrative assistant then was quickly prompted to Quality Supervisor

and shortly thereafter the title addition of Production Supervisor was established, as the company

grew. The areas worked daily; Inventory control, production scheduling, laboratory analysis',

material tracking and purchasing, purchasing parts, design and production layouts, Material

Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), comparison spreadsheets for specialty metal production,

forecasting, shipping and receiving, managing hazard waste, creating and maintaining electronic

data files, accounts payable and accounts receivable and many other office administrative

activities as was required.

Accomplishments

During the first year of employment, due to my direct influence, the sales for the company

increased around 27%. This was accomplished by organizing timely receipt of materials in order

to produce quality finished goods and ship them on demand to the customers. In addition to that I

created an electronic tracking system for analyses, materials and production.

Skills Used

My expertise with Microsoft Office was used extensively. I trained other employees and was the

main support person for most computer issues. I have a great affinity for numbers and enjoy

working with them in accounting, as well as chemistry for the laboratory analyses. As an

experienced "motor-head" I was able to quickly obtain the correct parts and machinery wh ile the

company was growing. My ability to think out-of-the-box was an asset to the President of the

company when developing a new specialty metal production line.

Growing quickly, the numerous manufacturing locations as well as the warehouses were

combined into one location, in Pottstown, PA. I was given the opportunity to continue working with

Titan International, Inc. however due to the significant commute it was too much to travel to that

location on a daily basis.

Sr. Administrative Assistant – Jan. 1999 to May 2006

Shell Oil Company, Moorestown, NJ

Responsibilities

As the East Region Division focal point I handled all of the environmental files, worked closely

with the NJDEP, and provided correspondence. W orking with environmental engineers and

assisting them with training, creating presentations, coordinating meetings, travel arrangements,

reports, timesheets, spreadsheets, expense reports, maintaining budget reports, group

communications, distribution of meeting notes, working closely with vendors and filtering phones

calls. Eventually I was added to the national team for creating and converting all paper reports to

electronic data, which was a huge undertaking at that time. Extensive traveling was required for

regional, national and training meetings.

Accomplishments

Electronic Data Base created – Livelink, Records Liaison – Document Management,

– Nov. 1991 to May 1998

Inventory Control Specialist

Quickie Mfg., Delran, NJ

Responsibilities

W hen hired here, I was given the responsibility to gain control of the inventory. The parts for the

mops and brooms had no real record or location status. In other words, folks were constantly

looking for parts and ordering additional parts. This seemed daunting at first, but like eating and

elephant, I took one bite at a time. Computer systems and software were just starting to be

implemented. Until this was fully in force we needed to maintain a hard copy of material receipts

and shipping records. At first we started recording production from each shift. Maintain a written

spreadsheet to constantly manage the inventory. Eventually I was able to assign locations for all

of the raw materials and finished goods. This information was then entered in the computer

system and eventually maintained for a database reference. This accomplishment improved

purchasing and shipping. This feat increased the efficiency of the manufacturing part of the

company to the point it out grew the Delran, NJ location and moved to North Carolina

Accomplishments

Created Inventory and production control. I played a vital role with the implementation of the

computer software systems, UNIX, Oracle and Microsoft.

Skills Used

Assisted with Shipping and Receiving, Bills of Lading, managed the office, payroll, personnel

records, and maintaining office and bar coding equipment.

Damage Control Petty Officer – Jul. 1979 to Jan. 1982

United States Coast Guard, Long Beach, CA

Best experience of my lifetime. I became an excellent welder. Trained, Experience and

accomplished in the art of carpentry, plumbing, and basic electricity. If I can't fix it or repair it can't

be fixed. When out on the ocean one has to be innovative in order to make parts required to

repair a vessel. Stationed on the Icebreaker "Glacier" I had many opportunities to be creative and

assist with the repairs on the old girl, Glacier. I enjoyed the additional training for commu nication,

fire-fighting, Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Warfare, and survival training. I was temporarily

stationed in Detroit, MI on the Aids to Navigation team. There I was taught how to maintain

lighthouses and buoys, as well as tolerate the winter weather on the Detroit River.
