Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Cape Fear Valley Health System, Fayetteville, NC
(July 2008-October 2009)
Cared for patients immediately after coronary artery bypass graft, carotid
endarterectomy, thoracotomy surgery, aneurysm repair and implantation of
ventricular assist devices.
Worked directly with Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, intra-aortic balloon
pumps, and epicardial and transvenous pacemakers.
Worked in conjunction with specialty providers to wean ventilators and
