The creation of a detailed record (well log) of a borehole by collecting, processing,

examining and analyzing the cuttings of rock/geological samples brought to the surface

while drilling.

Provides well owners and producers with information about the Lithology and fluid

content of the borehole while drilling.

Utilizes various laboratory techniques to evaluate detailed and complex data for signs of

oil or gas while monitoring computer recordings of drillings.

Interprets information and feeding it back to the drilling team to enhance project safety

and success.

Operates and maintains a real-time computer-based data acquisition system, which

records all aspects of rig activity.

Assists the geologist during coring operations.

Vast knowledge of directional and horizontal drilling with working knowledge of

horizontal directional drilling.

Inspects materials and quality of work of pipeline construction for conformance to

specifications.

Observes preparation of right-of-way for conformance to contractual agreement.

Examines bottom of trench for rocks or other hard objects that might damage pipe

coatings.

Interfacing with field personnel, operations supervisor to ensure job expectation

directives are satisfied for all equipment operators and service supervisors.

locations, job tickets, pre and post-job reports, and documentation.

Ensuring jobs are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with company HSE policies

and procedures.
