Sr. Business Manager
As a Business Manager of several projects/programs, I was responsible for communicating the financial status of
bookings (volume orders brought in from outside), sales (cost of goods sold), expenditures (expenses occurred on
projects), profit margins (how much did we make), and ROI calculations (return on investments). I created a
Program Manager’s Dashboard that depicted not only the information listed above, but included metrics of
schedule information (milestone accomplishments) earned value management information (timeline and cost
information) risk management information (risk occurrence, probability, and mitigation factors), along with
deliverables (documents, materials, products, services, reports). The management policies and procedures were
across the board with internal and external customers and reported to upper management. I defined the scope of
work for matrix organizations and subcontractors for projects along with strategic objectives, milestones, and
performance timelines relating to their phase of the project to align with the overall program goals and milestones.
Maintained full accountability for managing all aspects of day-to-day business activities in accordance with
organizational goals and objectives. Performed financial and schedule reporting status (budget versus actuals,
estimate at completion analysis, schedule status and milestone reporting). Applied strategic planning,
prioritization, and project management skills toward consistently achieving critical deadlines while maintaining
high quality standards. Trained, mentored, and supervised a team of 50 cross-functional staff members in all
aspects of business and engineering fields, including financial, schedule and risk management of government

executed a strong proficiency in earned value management, risk management, schedule planning and
implementation, metrics reporting, sales, orders, EBIT, cash management, financial estimating, facilities planning,
