Title – Operations Manager for 787 Rolls Royce program

Duties – I am responsible for managing all production sites for the 787 Nacelles. We have several

production facilities that build different portions of the Thrust Reversers, Inlets, Fan Cowl, and Exhaust

Nozzle. I manage scheduling for these facilities to meet customer Takt Time and find ways to eliminate

cost and increase productivity by driving site leadership in the right direction. I review labor hours for all

sites to monitor performance goals and to keep excess hours on the scope for reduction countermeasures.

I also facilitate kaizen events and Continuous Improvement initiatives in all business areas to eliminate

waste in our processes. I also manage performance metrics to our business plan.

Title - CI Manager/ACE Coordinator 09/12 – 7/13

Duties – I am the ACE Coordinator for the Union, WV site, and responsible for all CI/ACE

implementation. I facilitate or assist with Policy Deployment and macro plan meetings weekly. I also

facilitate our site GMT meetings weekly. I have Lead, co-Lead, participated, and/or facilitated many

events over the past 9 months, including many 5s Events, Quality Clinic, logistics and a 3P Event. Since

being responsible for the WV site, I have implemented a 5s schedule for the entire facility that was mostly

non-existent beforehand. I taught the entire shop floor personnel the ACE at Work module during first,

second, and third shifts to create ACE awareness with the new terminology and acronyms. There are

many signs I created and posted throughout the facility to aid employees with remembering and

understanding these new ACE terms, such as: Turnbacks, RRCA, QCPC, and ACE. I helped facilitate a

benchmarking visit to a UTC Kidde Aerospace site in North Carolina. I also hold CI meetings every

Friday with other Leadership staff for CI/ACE opportunities. I am heavily involved with our Race to

ACE meetings twice a week where the management staff and I track our Macro Plan deadlines. I am

dedicated to assist or coach leaders, support members, and shop floor personnel with continuous

improvement opportunities as an ACE leader in UTC.

Title - CI Associate 11/06 – 9/12 Foley, Al

Duties - I was assigned to the C-5 OEM production line where I monitored and prepared charts and

reports pertaining to Continuous Improvement and cost. I was responsible for overseeing all CI activities

and projects on our production line. I have been a Leader, Co-Leader and member on many successful

events over the past six years which enabled us to reduce cost greatly and become more efficient. I also

have been on many other successful events throughout our Aerostructures facilities including Mexicali,

Chula Vista and Tolouse, France in order to drive down cost using our lean tools. I have taught 5s and

process mapping modules to the entire C-5 production line and I am capable of teaching any other

Continuous Improvement tool. I also have implemented several 5s improvements to enable us to reach

our next 5s level. I assisted employees throughout the production line with standard work, percent load

and 5s issues using RTPR and the five why's to reach the root cause of the problem. I understand how to

build relationships and I am able to work very well with a cross-functioning staff. I always look for the

best possible outcome. I also have my Lean Practitioner Certification and have completed GLPD

overview. My Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance from Ashford University will be completed this

August. I am also on the Dean’s List at Ashford University for making all A’s while I was also coaching

t-ball. I am very driven to implement and teach these lean tools throughout our company, so Goodrich

can continue to be a leader in Continuous Improvement.

Title – Group Leader 11/06 -9/12

Duties – V2500 and CNA. Assisting and acting as Team Leader with RTPR and Continuous

Improvement. In 2008 I completed GPP week clinic and Lean Practitioner Training. I Repaired and

replaced any defective or cosmetically unacceptable parts. Installing/removing all types of fasteners and

countersinking different types of holes. Main duties as a Group Leader is to help where needed on the

production line and to meet customer goals. I’m responsible for repairing anything defective or

cosmetically unacceptable before shipping. I have supervised the line on many occasions when Team

Leader isn’t present. I strive for the best results of myself and others on my team.
