Objective

My objective is to always put forth my best effort. I desire to be the best that I can be and enjoy

learning new challenging tasks. I like to be challenged and enjoy making the seemingly

impossible a reality.

Qualifications

For the last nine years I have ran my own trucking/logging business. I have balanced the

dynamics of being an owner operator with being a manager/ CEO. My management experience

from UPS and Forward Air has allowed me to be successful in what I have been doing, however

the Logging industry is limited and I am looking for a more corporate setting at this time.

Work History

1997 to 1999 Dock Worker, Forward Air (Jacksonville, FL)

Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound truck, prepping freight or recovery and outbound

availability.

1999 to 2001 Operations Supervisor, Forward Air (Jacksonville, FL), (GSP)

Managing P/L statements, employee productivity, as well preparing billing statements for airline

freight handling. Rate quotes and arrival and departure of freight were also part of my daily

activities.

2001 to 2002 Package Unloader, UPS (Jacksonville, FL)

Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucking.

2002 to 2004 Management, UPS (Jacksonville, FL)

Managing inbound and outbound packing handling and employee time, maintain safety standards.

2004 to Present Logging and Trucking, Hilliard, Florida

Procuring wood to harvest, hiring employees, acquiring wood prices from the local mills and

landowners, timber estimates, managing trucking fleet, operating woods equipment and

maintaining DOT compliance.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Religion and Ministry from Luther Rice University

Interests and Activities

I am an active member at our local church and enjoy spending time with my wife and three

children. I am also an avid outdoorsman and love spending time in the woods and on the water.

Licenses and Certificates

Class A CDL and active medical card.

Master Logger Plus Certified with the Florida Forestry Association.
