Handwriting Extraction and Recognition:

Description:

Segmentation of information data from the image and extract each

letter from the segmented data. Features are extracted from each letter

image and each image is recognized as characters.

Module:

Feature extraction by segmentation based method and zone based

method. Recognition process by neural network both training and testing

phase involved.

SOFTWARE USED: C++,Matlab

Back ground Color recognization and text Localization:

Description:

Extraction of specified text data and also separate each color to the

respective folders from the scanned form image.

Module:

Scanned image of a printed form in different colors is given. The

back ground

colors in the image is recognized by maximum area it has been surrounded

and seperated. Text data in the image is localized and specified with co-

ordinates for further OCR process.

Novell Nano Devices for Future ULSI Circuits

In the project,a new transistor device called OMEGA FET is

developed.It is a tri-

gate MOSFET which has a close resemblance to the Gate-All-Around

Transistor. The

performance of OMEGA FET for analog applications was explored.Analog

operation of CMOS devices and its parameters are a very important for

future technologies. As the number of gates increases control over the

drain current characteristics also increases. Hence OMEGA FET has better

controllability than the Dual-gate MOSFET.

Its advantage is that it has better SCE (Short Channel Effect) and

less DIBL (Drain Induced Barrier Lowering).

SOFTWARE USED: Synopsis ISE-TCAD (Technology Computer Aided Design).The

Sentaurus device editor and sentaurus device simulator in the tool were

used.
