pack operations for Customer and internal specifications.
Responsibilities included performance and preparation for all
AIB food safety inspection achieving a consistent "Excellent"
rating. Responsible for adherence to fiscal budgets in all areas
of responsibility. Initiated Lean Manufacturing techniques in
Casing Area to increase throughput and efficiency. Interim
Safety manager for 6 months. In charge of Plant Security and
Team leader for the Emergency Response Team.
San Benito Foods (A division of Northwest Packaging) July 2003
to September 2003
Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Nights)
Duties include supervision of all warehouses and logistical
support, inventory control
As well as scheduling and supervision of 30-40 Union employees.
Enforcement of established Company safety rules and policies.
Responsible for issuance of inventory and custody of WIP and FGI
received from the production lines. Duties also included stock
rotation and enforcement of GMP's. As well as conformance to
customer specifications. Also preparation of warehouses for
ongoing AIB inspections.
Trend Technologies (formerly Cowden Metals), November 1999 to
June 2003
Title: Manufacturing Manager / Facility Safety Coordinator
Duties included scheduling of manufacturing personnel as
required to meet production goals. Hiring of personnel as well
as conducting annual employee performance evaluations. Conducted
Lean Manufacturing training classes and ISO familiarization
classes as required. Handled investigations and disciplinary
actions and all safety related matters. Compiled safety topics
and conducted safety training. Maintained OSHA 300 logs and
Managed Haz-mat disposal.
Responsibilities also included assembling emergency evacuation
plan and 1st responder teams for emergency situations. Entered
daily data for tracking of productivity and efficiency and on
time delivery metrics in the shop. Traveled to customer sites
throughout the US for field repair and onsite Quality
evaluations as required. Direct Manager over 8 Supervisors and
200 indirect reports across 3 shifts.

Duties involved contract review, adherence to all customer
specifications and applicable Mil-specs. Quality Planning,
Purchase order review, Material Review Board, and customer
returns. Disposition of all non-conforming materials both
internal and external. Including analysis of data and monthly
reporting to finance of all scrap materials, determination of
root cause analysis and establishing timely and effective
corrective action. Sourced and approved new vendors and
monitored existing vendors. Responsible for plant safety, new
employee training, Haz-Mat training and forklift training. Lead
monthly safety meetings. Maintained compliance to S.B.198 and
other governing regulations.

Duties involve the scheduling and release of manufacturing
orders to shop floor for JIT mfg. based philosophy with fast
pace high quality products. Review and processing of shop orders

Fabrication department, Powder coating and Upholstery. Also
worked with shipping schedules to ensure on time delivery.

Duties involved the complete scheduling of all plant operations.
Production and manufacture of various assemblies and sub-

Compensation. Responsible for adherence to all aspects of Food
Safety, HACCP Program, Sanitation and Health Department
regulations, Cal-OSHA, and AIB requirements. Upon my departure
they held an "Excellent" rating with AIB for overall Plant
sanitation and maintenance.
Direct Manager over three managers, six shift supervisors, and
approximately 175 indirect employees. Responsible for both
Shipping and Receiving Warehouses. Also responsible for the
Production Control Department, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Plant
Maintenance.
