CDS Global Quality Director 3/12-Present
Currently manage a global staff responsible for ensuring internal & external quality metrics are achieved in the digital,
grand format & offset print space. Installed Key Performance Indicators where none existed. Structured a continuous
improvement program based on Six Sigma tools. Serve as Chief Engineer for new product development/introduction
(NPD/NPI). Designed and deployed an intranet database for electronic work instructions. Sourced, championed &
launched a learning management system. Act as “face of quality” to clients and customers including several fortune 100
businesses. Installed manufacturing fundamentals into a print business that was largely uncontrolled, driving process

Systems Engineer for Cabin Furnishings within months. Improved honeycomb sandwich panel construction methods to
reduce warpage of large scale designs. Sourced, tested and implemented rapid curing thermoset resin for production to
reduce span time of repairs. Redesigned universal bonding jig tooling to improve tolerances for major customer project.
MEDISISS Production Manager 2/07-1/09

contractors, vendors and internal teams of managers and sales reps to correct improve or develop future opportunities for

Lockheed Martin Systems Engineering (Operations) Manager, Edwards AFB 4/97-8/06
Managed the Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Training and Government Property departments for
Lockheed Martin at the 416th Consolidated Test Force. Supervised a large team of salaried and hourly personnel
accountable for all facets of flight test sortie generation. Coordinated with pilots, project engineers, customers,
government agents and vendors to define, measure and succeed in execution of flight test objectives. Managed staffing
activities to include hourly, salaried, engineering, supervision and temporary requirements. Responsible for establishing,
certifying and maintaining training requirements for all touch labor to exceed contract specifications. Developed and
maintained a satellite variant of the Ground and Flight Risk Clause of DFARS between the DOD and Lockheed Martin.
Maintenance Chief, Edwards AFB (01-03)
Supervised a maintenance crew numbering from 7 to 40 employees based on tempo. Oversaw major modifications to
flight test aircraft, execution of developmental tests for avionics software, envelope expansion for the F-16, and first article
engine testing for a newly acquired customer. Second tier management of all maintenance/modification performed on
multiple foreign military aircraft. Duties include engineering liaison, training/Instructing, lean implementation, customer
interface, configuration control, hourly and salaried staffing requirements, financial management, time change item
forecasting, and technical data management.
Production Supervisor / Flight Test Supervisor (97-01)
Responsible for major operations on newly assembled F-16 aircraft, including first engine run, first flights, contract
completion, and delivery to customer. Managed hourly personnel in the performance of initial operation, trouble-shooting,
and repair of all aircraft systems. Directly accountable for schedule requirements of multimillion dollar contract sales of
new aircraft. First line supervisor of various F-16 Flight Test programs, including the AFTI/JSF Integrated Subsystem
Technology demonstrator. Gained valuable experience by obtaining a thorough understanding of the F-16 manufacturing
process
United States Navy 6/89-2/97
Eight years of increasing responsibility for the rapid repair of F/A-18 aircraft systems to support flight operations under
various conditions: Home, at sea and abroad; peacetime and combat. Fulfilled duties as Flight Deck Coordinator aboard
USS Constellation. Directly responsible for 30 subordinates in the performance of flight operations, maintenance and
upkeep of 12 aircraft at sea. Four years’ experience with the USMC, maintaining 46 F/A-18 aircraft of various
airframe/software configurations.
Relevant History
Evaluated as “Exceptional” through Lockheed Martin’s Performance Recognition System (PRS) three years consecutively.
Awarded the 416th’s “Top Gun” award for outstanding sortie generation. Presented with AFFTC performance recognition
award for results on Israeli, Greek and Taiwan flight test programs. Awarded IRA for significant contributions to F-16
program goals. Created and implemented a digital Tech Order system for my maintenance department. Created and
coordinated standardized ground operations procedures for the maintenance team which were subsequently approved by
the US government, thereby relieving Lockheed Martin of risk/cost.
Consistently evaluated as far exceeding peers in efficiency, schedule, and problem solving. Averaged a 141% efficiency
rate for 1999 F-16 deliveries. Awarded Navy Achievement Medal for creating standardized operating procedures for the
launch and recovery of the F/A-18. Awarded Air wing Commendation for incorporating 75 technical directives, while
simultaneously maintaining a 98.6% sortie completion rate during “Operation Southern Watch”. Received Navy
Achievement Medal for research, diagnosis, and repair of recurring flight control anomalies. Contributed to F/A-18 E/F
project by consulting with McDonnell Douglas engineers about landing gear upgrades. Submitted technical and flight
manual changes to enhance aircraft performance and maintainability.
