My name is Rebekah I am a polite,trustworthy,hardworking and conscientious
person. I like a challenge and am looking for fulltime work 20hours or more a
week,i have excellent experience in customer service skills,working on the
tills,handling cash e.g cashing up at the end of the night,doing delivaries and
working in the stockroom, I also like doing general house keeping. I enjoy
working as part of a team and get on well with others I am a friendly and
approachable person.

I have attended 2 work placements whilst at college:
Placement 1
Emmaus Catholic And Church Of England Primary School where for the first half
of the year I worked with the Nursery group the children were aged between 3-
4years and that involved being creative,making things and being imaginative with
the children in the role playing and dressing up home corner. I also used my
initiative at playtime when playing outside E.g playing different games such as
hide and seek,tiggy bob down and other childrens games.
For the remainder of the time i worked with the Reception class which involved
helping the children with the mathematics and literacy work. I was also involved
with helping children with there reading and writing on a one-one basis,I was
responsible for my own individual group.
One of the tasks I completed was a Time Line Chart regarding children from
babies too reception children and I had to do a wall display with a description.
Placement 2
The Fairmount Nursery At Broomhall where the children were aged between
3months-6years which involved supervising and feeding young babies during
sleep time.
With the older children i was also involved with toddlers during their lesiure time
and had experience working with a mentally handicapped child.

I am currently working at newlook and have really enjoyed my experience and
new challenges. I hold and NVQ in retail with them and am currentely studying
my supervisors training folder.
My role involves merchandising new stock and transferring old stock,I am also
experienced in diplomacy when dealing with difficult customers and catering for
their needs,i am also involved with window- dressing and changing graphics
when required.I am involved with all aspects of retail work including accepting
delivaries,handling cash and cashing up at the end of the day. I enjoy working as
part of a team and get on really well with other members of staff.
Hobbies And Interests
I enjoy going shopping with my mum/friends in my spare time, i also enjoy
spending alot of time with my 5 year old niece,3year old cousin and 5month old
cousin. I enjoy babysitting for all of them and playing games and doing creative
activities with them.
I enjoy going on holidays,listening too music,going out with friends and spending
time with my boyfriend and families.
