Started with Orkin as a termite tech in the late 60's, promoted to Pest,

then recruited by Terminix as termite and pest sales where I received

several sales awards. Early 80's started AllPest Exterminators sold company

in 84 and went to Civil Service Pest Management with Dept of Justice,

transferred to Dept of Defense at Tinker AFB as Pest Management as WG 10

and then promoted to Pest Management supervisor WS9 until Govt. contracted

out all of Civil Engineers in 2000, and was transferred to Waco VA as Pest

Management and Environmental Specialist. Retired in 2003. Now I am ready to

retire from retirement

During my time with TAFB received Civilian of the year nominee, several

yearly cash awards for duty.

We attended yearly training and every 3 years re-certifications.

PRODUCTIVITY:

Extremely skilled and capable craftsman, who regularly exceeds standards

of both quality and quanity. Always demonstrates a commitment to develop

and implement techniques to increase productivity and efficiency. Devised

and instituted a Pest Management System Inspection Checklist for use by

shop personnel. An essential part of the Integrated Pest Management

Practices Program. Meticulously complied information regarding base wide

usage of chemicals, close monitoring of usage amounts resulted in Tinker

AFB complying with Air Force mandate to reduce chemical usage by 50% of the

1995 amount. My 772nd Engineer Squadron is the only Department of Defense

unit to accomplish this requirement.

WORKING RELATIONS:

Highly respected by everyone dealt with, from subordinates, co-workers to

base leadership. Harmonious relationship with others enabled to complete

every job in a timely and professional manner. Received many positive

compliments from customers about "can-do" attitude.

DEPENDABILITY:

Can be relied upon either day or night to respond to emergencies or

incidents that require expertise. Regularly responded to off duty calls to

perform Customs Inspections on inbound overseas aircraft as a

representative of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Excellent attendance
