SUMMARY OF WORK HISTORY
I currently work for M&M industrial services out of Baxely GA. My current
responsibilities include shop machining and fabrication of industrial machinery and field
installations of the same.
From October of 2010 to July of 2013 I worked For Georgia Biomass LLC. As the
Mechanical superintendent of a 300 acre facility I have supervised & scheduled all
mechanical maintenance activities, planned outages, continuous improvement processes and
created the facility preventative maintenance routines. I held responsibility for virtually all
aspects of mechanical maintenance throughout the entire facility. I reported directly to the
Plant Manager & Plant Engineer.
From the fall of 2007 thru October of 2010 I worked for Hunter Panels in Terrell Texas. As
the Lead Mechanic of a poly iso insulation plant I was responsible for maintaining the
condition of the equipment and spare parts inventory. Directing Mechanical repairs to
facility equipment And implementing continuous improvement ideas and policy. I reported
to the maintenance manager.
From June of 1996 to the Fall of 2007 I was employed through the international Millwrights union.
During this time I served a full apprenticeship program which was one of the best in the world
concerning the skilled trades. I also traveled the country extensively. To list all of the experiences I
had during this time would fill several pages, so below is a summary of the last few years jobs I had
with the Millwrights Union and would be typical of my experience. I would like to note here, my
reasons for leaving the Millwrights Union were to avoid traveling. I would be happy to answer any
questions concerning this time.
Siemens Westinghouse Overhaul of Steam turbines, Valves and generators. My duties were
disassembly and inspection of components, determining necessary replacements or machine
work. Then, reassembly and run in of the equipment.
Siemens Dematic Installation and run in of a large, high speed baggage handling system at
the DFW airport international terminal. My duties were lay out, fabrication and assembly
of system components.
International Industrial Contracting Modification and retooling of automotive
manufacturing equipment in a general motors manufacturing facility to enable the plant to
manufacture a new model while utilizing the existing machinery. My duties were directing
a crew of millwrights, pipe fitters and electricians and run in of the equipment to
engineering standards.
Power Tech Outage rebuild in a chemical processing facility. My duties were teardown and
rebuild of two 70 series and one 46 series Elliot industrial centrifugal compressors in
conjunction with plant engineering modifications to increase capacity.
ACT Industrial Tooling modification in high speed bottling equipment at a Fort Worth
Texas brewery. My duties were to modify the assembly line to utilize different labeling
machines and labels on the same assembly line.
Tyler Pipe A maintenance contract in a large scale foundry. My duties were
troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with an impact
molding press utilized to manufacture ductile iron pipe fittings.
I have frequently worked hand in hand with Engineering and design specialist to implement and
improve process or machinery changes throughout my career. I have enjoyed this aspect of my
career.
