My job role involves working for complaints department where different
processes are carried out to solve customer complains. The role job role
involves written communication, word processing and typing, and requires
relevant skills such as IT, organisational and presentation skills. This
job role gives me the opportunity to achieve targets and completing my work
within the specific time. Additionally I have also been given the
opportunity for the management of work and the staff allocation, along with
this I also prepare report for the manager.

My job role involves attending emergency gas escape calls and non-emergency
calls from the general public. Customer's calls are answered to solve their
queries regarding any gas related problems making their life save and easy.

As Sales Advisor
My job role involves dealing with the customers in a very diplomatic
manner, interacting well and solving their queries effectively and
efficiently at any point of time. My work also includes dealing with cash
on the tills and working in the stock room for maintaining the stock
rotation. Apart from working as a Sales Advisor I have always been given
the opportunity to work as a team leader in the absence of the manager or
the supervisor if required.

I was responsible for designing leaflets, posters, logo and writing letters
in order to notify the community members about the upcoming events and also
update any activities coming up. Additionally I also had the opportunity to
create and design an annual booklet for my community, which gave me, chance
to design the template and advertisements for it. I made use of IT in order
to enter details of the community members in order to keep them up to date.
Interests & Hobbies:
I thoroughly enjoy working out in a local gym. I also enjoy playing
different kind of sports such as football, basketball, badminton and
cricket. Cricket and football has always been my passion and therefore I
always took part in the college cricket and football team. I also like
spending my free time listening to music and moving out with friends.
Abilities
I have got the ability of working in teams, contributing as a team and
helping out team members when required. This is what I have done throughout
my working life. I have always enjoyed working to a high standard .My
biggest strength is that I easily get along with people, which allow me to
communicate freely with customers. I am very hard working and can cope with
the stress very easily. I am a helpful, honest and reliable person. Apart
from all this I am very good at computers and have got a wide range of
knowledge of all the Microsoft office packages.
Skills
I.T Skills- I have good knowledge in I.T field I understand all the
Microsoft packages and know how to apply them in my work. A Microsoft
package includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and java, HTML, Vista, XP,
window 7, Outlook. Servers - Exchange, SQL Server and Networks - LAN / WAN
/ VPN.
Communication- I am very confident in using different methods of
communication which includes oral or verbal both. I have got a very
confident telephone manner. My experience of dealing with customers and
their problems on the phone (House Of Fraser and Otis Ltd) and face to face
(Next Retail and Primark) has allowed me to develop my communication
skills.
Leadership -I have gained and understood the importance of leadership from
my employment at Primark. Working at Primark has given me the opportunity
to ensure that the sales targets are met and maintained well and ensure
that the store policies are upheld. It also gives me the chance of
supervising the functioning of the staff and training new staff.
