Position: port safety and security officer./I.S.P.S 2004 / FSO.

Responsibilities:

-I was part of the team which carried out the external audit/ISPS FIELD in terms of security in all

types of Terminals of the port .

-with radionav when a ship enter in the waters of the national territory must to have an express specification of the draft, type of merchandise and any existing security level, according to the draft staff announces ship berth that will be verified in terms of draft preparation and operator berth ship in order of arrival.

-maneuver the landing or departure of a ship in port is supervised with the station broadcasting reception what is still in contact with the VTS (vessel traffic system), Pilot station and Masters of tugs.

-after the long side maneuvering climb on board and release for the commander a permit to coming along side and ask about the particularities of the ship(IMMS,IMO-num,GRT,NET,ETA,ETD,..etc), cargo plane to know the exact position of dangerous goods (IMDG) and with SSO we discuss about security level and security ship plan .

-during the stay in harbor supervises the loading / unloading from the vessel and also storage terminal of cargo in terms of safety (warehouse supervisory) and with PFSO we discuss about the security plan of the maritime terminal

--all this time I am connected with Harbor Master, Customs, Coast Guard and Police Health.
