Coupling Division 1-10-2012 / 1-1-2014
Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer: Currently support the Long Tubing Fabrication and Coupled
Hose Assembly departments. Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods by utilizing
knowledge of materials and parts, machining or bending processes, tooling and production
equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards. Develop B.O.M’s. and
TPC, labor routings, including equipment utilization and machine capabilities and capacity.
Analyze, monitor and implement new work instructions for continuous improvement projects that
reduce cost, improve quality, increase productivity and safety.
Equipment calibration, statistical process control and gauge R&R methods for analyzing data to
address quality concerns. Practice Lean Manufacturing principles. Possess a working knowledge
of SPC, TQM, PPAPs and SQUAM. Plan and develop tooling for new products using 3D
modeling software, Solid Works, Auto-Cad Inventor, and Pro E. Use MS Office for spreadsheets
and graphs. Read and interpret prints/specs.
Accomplishments:
I have received Winners Circle awards for cost savings improvements of over million dollars to
date. Implemented lean management tools to improve efficiency in production. Lead
communication meetings with operators and management on accountability, efficiency, lean
tools, and machine and plant safety. Continually work to improve added, non-value added and
internal and external practices in machine operations.
