I am applying for the engineering technician position I found on Indeed.com. I have a very technical background in both mechanical and electrical positions. I have experience working on sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems and interpreting complicated electrical and avionic system diagrams while employed with the airlines. I also have leadership skills and abilities, while employed with the airlines I was a lead mechanic and a supervisor in charge of leading and assisting up to sixteen mechanics. I currently am employed by Curtiss-Wright EMD with experience working on commercial and military nuclear components. I am also presently enrolled at the Pennsylvania State University working towards my bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering technologies; I have 121 credits completed. I believe my technical background, in both mechanical and electrical positions, combined with my education, gives me a unique perspective on common engineering issues with problem solving, creating unique solutions and designing products and services. I’m a very motivated and quick learner, and have a lot of troubleshooting experience. I have some PLC experience with Allen-Bradley, and RSLogix, while attending classes at Penn State.
