implement the pro-active aspect of nutrition. Sole representative for clinical nutrition providing the most recent
evidence-based science regarding medical nutrition therapy.
Multi-Facility RD, Genesis Healthcare, Aurora/Pueblo, CO May 2012 – December 2013
Provide medical nutrition therapy for all patients of two skilled nursing facilities. Implemented and manage new
dining & weight systems for two facilities, oversee clinical nutrition and foodservice depts. Integral member of
the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Work closely with clinical team, patients, and family members to improve
patient outcomes & quality of life. Sole representative of clinical nutrition perspective & provide education to
all members of the team regarding current nutrition guidelines and evidence-based practice. Played integral role

Research Assistant September 2009- July 2010
Worked with fellow graduate student obtaining food records from study participants (athlete and non-athlete
females ages 18-35) for her thesis study on the prevalence of female athlete triad and it’s effect on bone mineral
density. Responsible for calling 48 participants and acquiring 3-day food records. Entered 3-day food records
into Food Processor for all participants. Accountable for acquiring Food Processor nutrient spreadsheets from
diet records for all participants and emailing results within a two week time frame.
