Program Manager - SUN EDW Program Central and North Europe (CNE)

The SUN MICROSYSTEMS (now ORACLE) Extended Delivery Workforce (EDW) Program

was a comprehensive global MSP (Managed Service Provider) program -designed

and managed by Kelly Outsourcing - to provide Sun led engagements with all

3rd Party Labour resources with the right skills, at the right price, in

the right place and at the right time.

As On-Site Program Manager based in Sun offices, I was responsible

for the definition, implementation, on-going development and delivery,

management and strategic direction of the Program in Central and North

Europe (9 countries). This global IT-based MSP program administered the

talent acquisition, contract & supplier management, delivery management and

other administration related to the sourcing of all IT contractors for Sun

Microsystems.

Responsibilities:

. Act as business partner to the Sun CNE Management offering solutions

and strategy recommendations both within the program scope and in line

with the business requirements specific to each country.

. Continuously align the EDW Program with Sun CNE objectives and

business needs through a close collaboration with the IT technical

team: manage the change request process for CNE by identifying the

required functional changes and submitting them to the IT team,

organising the implementation and testing the functional solution(s)

before go-live.

. Document & update all program processes (manuals, process flow charts

in Visio, task instructions, operational specifications document,

. Run weekly/monthly reports in Cognos on the EDW CNE activity and

distribute to Sun CNE management (e.g. Requisitions & orders; Spend

management per supplier /per role/per country; Pay & direct cost;

Time, overtime & expenses; Contractor appraisals; Turnover &

Attendance rates; Assignment length; Contractors & suppliers on-off

boarding; Quality & customer satisfaction

. Organise, prepare and present quarterly 'business reviews' to Sun CNE

management. These reviews consist of a financial analysis per country,

budget & workforce data consolidation and analysis

. Elaborate annual Market Rate Analysis of IT contracting activity in

Benelux & Switzerland.

. Oversee the Accounts Receivable to ensure that payments are processed

on time and in full.

. Ensure the program stays in line with the Service Level Agreements

. Ensure compliance to processes and standards by all parties

. Manage and develop the program team (2 Program Coordinators); ensure

that they meet the key objectives / deliverables of the program.

Measure their performance through bi-annual appraisals.
