I was responsible for not only inpatient collections but outreach and out patient

collections. Traveled to many nursing facilities to collect samples from patients. Was

also responsible for the E.R. hard to obtain patients.

June 2006 - May 2011

Wood Cliff Manor - Bethel Park, Pa

This postion entailed not only all resident and patient care but also included

phlebotomy, medication and injection managment. Became daylight supervisor after

working in the facility for six months. Managed up to ten co-workers in on shift.

Obtained CPR, diabetes managment, dementia, D.P.W. medication managment, and

f irst aid certifications in this postion.

I started this position as a phlebotomist and became engrossed in the actual

p rocedures of the lab. I then took up the on-the-job training and classes to become

certified in the Lab Accessioning proffesion. Once I was a Lab Accessioning

Technician I was responsible for specimen handling and specimen spinning up to

and including making slides and distributing speciman to in house laboratory

dpeartments and reference laboratories.
