among the top ten retail websites in the United States. The project was a

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) enabling platform for Best Buy Co Inc.

The web application was developed and quality assured through agile

methodology. This application enables employees to connect and interact

with each other to share information and tools for betterment of customer

service.

Responsibilities:

Understand the business requirements and use cases thoroughly.

Define use cases to verify design requirements.

Create objectives and test cases for both good and bad path scenarios.

Used QTP to automate few regression test scenarios and executed them

successfully.

Execute test cases, log defects and tracked them in Rally to closure.

GSK is a science-led global healthcare company that researches and develops

a broad range of innovative medicines and brands. The products are used by

millions of people around the world. The three primary areas of business

are pharmaceuticals, vaccines and consumer healthcare. The project was to

verify a web application that was upgraded to the next version and a new

module included in it.

This was an upgrade project where few high priority issues were found in

the application -Global eCTD Viewer. New modules were added into the

application which enabled support for working with Japanese eCTD

submissions/ records.

Responsibilities:

Understand the business requirements, design the test plan.

Update the existing system test cases to meet the latest test design and

cover more functionality.

Perform sanity, exploratory, GUI, Ad-hoc testing on the application.

Execute integration and regression test run.

Log the defects in Quality Center and follow up for their closure.

Coordinate with the onsite team and assist the team members in test life

cycle.

Communicate with team management about test progress, attend scrum

meetings.

Perform validation techniques for Healthcare domain.

This GSK project was to validate various web applications of client

also involved upgradation of new Documentum docbase and layer to use the

tools in latest Windows applications.

Responsibilities:

Understand the system requirements and test case mapping.

Planning test scenarios and validating applications in new environments.

Perform smoke test, system test, regression test on the applications.

Document the test results in the test database.

Perform peer review for test plan, test cases, results and defects.

Work with the SQA audit team to validate the test deliverables and

small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and large enterprises. Toshiba

Corporation is a multinational engineering and electronics conglomerate

corporation. Its products and services include information technology,

communications equipment and electronic components. This is a product

verification and maintenance project where we verified the different

versions firmware and device drivers for Toshiba and HP products such as

Printers, scanners etc.

Responsibilities:

Understand requirements from the requirement specification.

Prepare the test cases for both good path and bad path test scenario.

Perform sanity test, installer test and regression of different builds.

Document the test results and log the defects in BugZilla.

Track defects and communicate with counterpart teams in getting them

resolved.

Prepare bug reports, test summary and communicate it with the client.

I was a single point of contact in the project to communicate with the

client in Japan.

Components like Shell, WMP, TabletPC, WMDG, Devices and Media Testing. We

tested QFE, GDRs, Service Packs for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2.

Responsibilities:

Understand the system requirements and prepare test cases for all the

Windows 7 components in WTT.

Report the defects and track them in the Product Studio.

Perform GUI functional, regression, system test, localization and

globalization testing on the application.
