Enhancement of Insurance Policy Application

Insurance policy is am application which helps the new user to enroll their names into the new insurance policy.

The application also aids the existing users, to pay the premiums online and modify the existing enrolment.

Technical specification:

The GUI users used the JAVA platform to create the GUI screens and the data packets are sent to the database

by establishing a JDBC connection and the backend is designed using WebSphere RAD in JAVA/J2EE

technology.

Role as a developer:

Building the layout for the core components of application using HTML5, JavaScript, J2EE technologies along

with the Struts framework.

Merging a dual component into single component, using the Object Oriented Concepts in JAVA and

establishing the web content relationship using HTML5.

Collection of data for the application using Collection concepts and implementing the modules to match with the

requirement.

Once the application is ready from the front end, to fetch the data or to update the fields, the JDBC connection is

established to the Oracle database using WebSphere RAD.

Maintenance of the application if a bug is raised from the testing team using JIRA as a bug tracking tool and

maintaining proper documentation, from development till production stage.
