Summary
To offer 20 years of extensive Robotic IT experience which will assist operations in improving
efficiency and production during start ups, renovations and installations.
Skills acquired during this time include writing of robot programs, improving cycle time, new
installations, and providing education regarding the function of robot cell(s). Extensive
experience with ABB S3, S4, S4C, IRC5 with additional experience with Fanuc, Kuka and
Motoman.
This includes 6 months intense training and submersion in Sweden heavy truck automation and
numerous return trips to Sweden to be updated on current innovations being introduced in the
production of the vehicle.

Installation and Expansion projects at Volvo Heavy Trucks, Ford Motor Company and
BMW America which included: integration of ABB robots for Metal Finish work cells, Atlas
Copco tooling, INOS vision, Safe Move, IRC5 and programming with Spot Weld servo guns in
accordance with company standards.
Start Up Team for Automated Production Line of Volvo Trucks North America Dublin,
Virginia.
This included initial training in Sweden, training of local personnel in robot functions, liaison
with various nationality programmers during robot installation and start up. Initial robots (ABB
S3) included pneumatic spot welding guns, material handling, (ABB S4) robot mig welder .
Expansion Team for New Robot Line at Volvo Truck North America Dublin, Virginia
After initial automation start up a limited team was chosen 5 years later to begin the expansion
phase with the addition of 35 robots (ABB S4C) bringing the total to 70+ robots within the
production line.
