Process Technician

Infineum (EXXON) - Linden, NJ - 2005 to 2007

Responsible for the operation of petrochemical equipment via quality, parameter and safety checks, valve line

ups and minor maintenance.

• Played a role in the successful certification and startup of a new Polyolefin process using P&ID, leak, IO,

and safety checks. This process gave valuable insight into the safe launch of a potentially hazardous system

with Fire/Hazmat and SCBA training.

• Utilized technical writing skills to develop Sieving, Wiped Film Evaporation Permits

Machinist

Infineum - 2004 to 2005

Performed Breakdown Analysis to identify root cause of seal failure. Effectively troubleshoot and repair

petrochemical equipment including pumps, drives, clarifiers, safety valves and packaging equipment.

• Obtained small hydraulic crane and Dresser Rand compressor certifications that allowed cross functional

utilization.

• Developed Pre Job Safety Analysis skill at this OSHA VPP facility to ensure I interacted safely in the immediate

environment.

Maintenance Mechanic

NESTLE - Freehold, NJ - 2001 to 2004

Entered the maintenance training program and mastered the art to troubleshoot, repair and maintain the safe

operation of food processing equipment including fabrication, welding, pipe fitting, pumps, drives, clarifiers,

and packaging equipment in half the allotted time.

• Successfully completed Stokes and Chesterton pump schools and obtained knowledge of repair and BDA

of those systems.

Lead Process Operator

Nestle - 1996 to 2001

Shift Lead and trainer for food manufacturing process equipment which included evaporation, clarification,

solubalization, extraction, spray drying, vacuum/pressure and safety systems.

• Other responsibilities included downtime reporting, batch reporting, and liaison between manufacturing,

quality and maintenance to resolve processing issues.

Lead Operator/Line Mechanic
