Manage the daily operations of 3 shifts of fitter-welders and sub-arc welders in
the quality and timely manufacture of steel poles for the power transmission and
lighting industries. Duties include, leading and scheduling manpower, verifying
quality, daily kaizen activities, providing culture change leadership through SQDC
implementation, and coaching Lead Men and Front-Line Supervisors to bring
them to the next level.
Group Leader

Manage the day to day operations of three robotic welding lines producing 360
"white bodies" per shift. Duties include leading over 50 skilled line associates and
materials conveyance teams using sound leadership to ensure efficiency,
morale, safety, discipline, and training. Daily skills and tools utilized include 5-S,
Kaizen activity, root-cause analysis, and TPM. Other daily responsibilities include
the "standard" front line duties such as policy enforcement.

Manage all aspects of production including fabrication, maintenance, painting,
shipping-receiving, safety, and plant purchasing. Duties include supervising 35
hourly employees in the production of fabricated structural and miscellaneous
steel. Manage all processes to improve on quality and man-hours, as well as
implementing new equipment and processes to bring this organization to "the
next level". Also responsible for setting policies for attendance, safety, and
bonuses for production departments. This position also requires coordination with
outside contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time completion of
projects. Well versed in AISC Codes and AWS welding procedures.Also acting
as Inspection Supervisor responsible fabrication,paint shop, and materials
quality.
Quality Assurance, Paint Dept. Production Supervisor

Supervise daily operations of Paint Dept., Final Finish, and Inspection-Test.
Responsible for 20 hourly employees. Duties include: supervising all Inspection
and Testing of completed custom trucks, aerial devices, digger derricks and other
specialty products for electric utility, telecommunications, and tree care
industries. Manage paint processes for product and fabricated parts, and
implementing overall quality improvement for our division. Work closely with
Inside sales and Engineering for overall quality improvement, cost and man-hour
reduction, and improvement of Paint Dept. production. First contact in advising

Managed day to day operations of Fabrication. Responsible for 8 Supervisors
(Production, Maintenance, And Material Handling) and 180 hourly employees
(welders, machinists, material, handlers, engineering technicians, and
maintenance). Fabrication dept. operations including: mig welding, robot welding,
and CNC machining of fabricated components for Hydraulic Excavator and
Wheel Loader Assembly. Also responsible for section maintenance and material
handling. Worked closely with all departments at Komatsu to improve on man-
hour redustion, cost and quality improvement, and ISO9002 Certification.
