Project Title - "Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (pseudomonas sp)".

Objective -

1. This project was to isolate bacteria from soil which are helpful for

plant growth promotion even in stress condition

2. Comparative studies with respect to effect of abiotic stresses i.e.

salt, temperature and drought on bacterial strains.

3. Comparative ecological studies with respect to effect of temperature,

drought, heavy metals, antibiotics, utilization of carbon, nitrogen

and amino acids source.

4. Comparative studies with respect to plant growth promotion ability of

bacterial strains under abiotic stresses i.e. salt, temperature and

drought.

5. Comparative study on plant growth promotional ability of bacterial

strains under greenhouse conditions.

Different experiments were undertaken to check the stress tolerance of

bacteria. During this period I worked on Polymrase Chain Reaction(PCR),

Centrifuge, Electrophoresis, Spectrophotometer, ph meter etc.
