Overview: Provide plant floor technical support and auditing to

ensure the food safety, regulatory compliance and

quality of all yogurt products produced by the Carson

manufacturing facility.

•Collect and test samples of incoming goods, in- process

materials, finished goods and processing environment. Testing

is done by using prescribed methodology that includes physical,

chemical and microbiological analysis.

•Utilize computer software to store and analyze test results.

•Maintain and calibrate equipment in lab and process area.

•Perform quality audits on manufacturing processes and procedures

including GMP’s, documentation review and HACCP.

•Inspections of process and packaging systems.

•Communicate observed quality issues with Operations, Quality

engineers and QRO manager on a regular basis

•Provide informal technical leadership for Operations through strong

floor presence.

•Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

•Assist other department members with various projects.
