I am experienced in the hotel and public house trade, both as an employee and with

running my own premises. I am looking for a position that will benefit from my

Career History:

April 2013 – Current Day

Working for The Lodge on Loch Goil.Lochgoilhead Argyll. Five Star Exclusive Use

Venue.

My role at The Lodge on Loch Goil is Administrator/Wedding Planner. During a very

busy summer last year my duties were Admin Ordering Stock, Staff Rotas, liasing with

future brides and organising Events and Activities for the Lodge Guests. Also have been

bar tending, waiting, housekeeping and any other duties which were required for the

smooth running of the Lodge. Most weeks during the summer were 70-80 hours.

April 2012 – April 2013 Customer Services/Telesales Advisor

Working for D2 Corporate Solutions in Paisley Renfrewshire

D2 is a Corporate Insurance Broking Company – Selling Business Insurance to Medium

sized Companies all over the UK. Also dealing with Customer Issues. This was a target

driven role and earned bonuses. I had no problem meeting my weekly targets and really

enjoyed this position. The reason for leaving was a move back home to Lochgoilhead

and the opportunity to return to working in Hospitality.

January 2012 – April 2012

Working for Response UK Glasgow – working for Sky Television customer serviced based

role with some selling to customers and helping with customer issues, target driven role

which at times can be high pressure but a very enjoyable position.

Summary

• I ran The Heritage for nearly 10 years with a low turnover of staff. This was a successful

community pub which was originally owned by Scottish and Newcastle until 2009 when

the leased pub section of S & N went into liquidation, and was taken over by a

management company called LS&LT. During the last two years, recession, escalating

energy costs and a nationally downward trend in the pub industry as a whole affected the

business. For me this is the time to move on and look to new challenges career wise.

This was a customer services telephone sales company. The main campaign was for Sky

Television, but I also worked on campaigns for a number of insurance companies.

Duties included:

• Working in the collections department of Sky television. This was a high pressure

environment with targets.
