Dear Hiring Manager,
In the interest of exploring employment opportunities, enclosed is my
resume for your consideration.
I am a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Registered Nurse in the
states of Virginia, Maryland, DC, New York, and Pennsylvania. In 2000, to
further advance my career, I earned a Master's Degree in Health Services
Administration from Central Michigan University.
Over the past twenty years, I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge
while working for recruiting agencies or via personal recommendations. This
allowed me to accept short term (interim) as well as long-term assignments.
It gave me the opportunity to work in a variety of multi-sized facilities
ranging from 35 - 290 beds; some of the Facilities were non-profit versus
for profit, and union versus non-union. I have also worked in a hospital
based transitional care unit. Please refer to my resume, as it reveals the
details of various locations where I was instrumental in meeting goals and
arriving at profitable solutions.
Presently seeking a permanent full time position. Will consider interim
employment in any area that I am licensed until a permanent position can be
obtained.
Should you anticipate a need for an individual with my experience and
genuine enthusiasm, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss our mutual
objectives in a personal interview.
Sincerely,
Ellen Waller, RN, MHSA, LNHA
