I have been a nurse for over 20 years. I have been a WA nurse for almost a year now, all my other nursing has been in Texas. I have done most of my nursing with the elder population thru home health, hospice, and long term care facilities. I started off in an emergency room nurse then went to Orthopedics at the same hospital.

I then went to work for a hospice organization. I tend to go back to hospice every few years. I feel it is a calling and I keep getting the call. I am a person who loves people and have great empathy for all people regardless of their situation in life. I have raised a special needs child into a grown woman with her own child and am raising another special child that I got as a baby while being a foster parent. That child is nine years old now and what a blessing family is.
