Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of biologic al
specimens for analysis .
Perform continuing education for laboratory personnel and maintains technical
competence.
I have sound base knowledge of the principles of tissue accession, grossing,
fixation and processing, embedding, cutting and staining tissue sections. I have
mastered the principles of quality control and laboratory safety as they pertain to the
His tology laboratory environment.
I have work and training experience in the advance processing techniques and use
of various types of mic rotomes. Experience of processing techniques of tissue
samples, including brain, kidney biopsies, prostates, bone and bone marrow, and
general tissue specimens. As part of the training curriculum I have been introduced
to the immune-histochemistry techniques, lmmunochem try concepts, Laboratory

bench manuals, OSHA Regulations, NAACLS, and CUA 88.Licensed and
