Diverging-Converging Geometry of Bioreactor against
Technology used
Conventional Straight-Tube Bioreactor
The performance of a Diverging-Converging Bioreactor was
Description
compared to that of a Straight-Tube Bioreactor using two
different feed solutions and varying the flowrate of the feed
solution. After exhaustive analysis of the results obtained for a
all the scenarios the Diverging-Converging geometry was
found to be a better option for enhancing the conversion rate
and by increasing the residence of the solution in the reactor.

Dispersants, Wetting Agents, Contact with Nanoparticles
Technology used
The present study provides a method for fracturing coal seams
Description
to improve the production of Methane and/or water. Use of
wetting agents and dispersants suspend the coal fines within the
fracturing fluid and prevent early screen-out. Also, contacting
coal fines in a subterranean formation with an amount of
particular additive which may have a mean particle size of
100nm or less, is effective to reduce coal fines migration and
movement.
