outside vendor, Merkle, to help build a marketing data warehouse, an
automated campaign management system, and an analytics & reporting tool. IE
Marketing Analytics has been working with Merkle to provide sample data
feeds for Merkle to work within their Discovery. As in Release 1, AAA
Marketing Analytics will provide the data feeds to Merkle again for Release
2 so that Merkle can test for consistency and begin their build process.
Meanwhile, AAA IT will be building the ETLs that essentially will be the
pipes that automatically send these data feeds to the Marketing Analytics
data warehouse that Merkle is building for us.

Freescale Semi Conductors Inc wants to track the manufacturing process of
converting Wafer to Die. They want to track the quantity, rejects, amount
of finished goods manufactured, customers shipped to using the Active Data
Warehousing. To fulfill these requirements a real time active data ware
housing is built using TIBCO middle ware as source to store the messages,
DATASTAGE 8.0 as the ETL and TERADATA as the database to load the data.
Each activity is tracked as a transaction, each transaction generates an
XML which is published to the Tibco Queue and then the ETL reads the
message from the Queue process it (applies the Business logic transforms
the data) and loads into the Teradata.
