Under Graduation:

Project Title: Anti theft security system for automobiles using GSM.

Technology: Embedded

Description: When the vehicle is started or even moved from the place where it is parked, we can receive the

message about the condition of vehicle. We are able to control the vehicle by sending “Disable” message through

mobile to security system which is dedicated to the automobile. Thus this message is processed and control signal

from microcontroller will be sent to Solenoid Valve whi ch stops the fuel supply to the engine and also the control

signal is sent to the Relay which cuts off the supply to all the key auto elements thus disabling the automobile.

Post Graduation:

Project Title: Remote monitoring of PLC based process using GSM.

Technology: Embedded

Description: In process industries, field buses have dominated the connection establishment between sensors,

actuators and controllers. Ageing of cables also pose as a great disadvantage as the quality of the cable erodes day

by day. In order to overcome this problem a wireless communication can be chosen as an alternative. In this

project the Global System for Mobile Communications is chosen for the wireless communication. We will be able

to receive short messages about the parameter(s) which we would like to monitor. A comparative study between

wired and wireless architecture will be studied regarding the control of the parameters in the process. Ethernet IP

module will be used to publish the status of various parameters in the pr ocess to a webpage. By using the requisite

IP address we will be able to view the screen of Ethernet IP which can provide us with details about the

parameters.
