Tax Analyst March 2004 - Present

The primary job function is the preparation of tax reports and

payments for Sales, Income, Personal Property, and Real Estate Tax.

Ensure that sales tax and property calculations are updated so that

future audit assessments do not result in large underpayment/P&L

impact. Responsible for reviewing expense purchase requisitions, work

orders, and authorization for checks for proper accounts and tax

coding. Responsible for year-end joint venture financial statements.

Coordinate achieving global allied imbalance targets. Analyze legal

and warranty reserves. Other duties include the preparation of month-

end closing data, administration of membership and contribution

activities, and the preparation and reconciliation of good and

services tax reports, payments and refunds. Serve as expert in

classification of facilities vs. tooling vs. expense.

Financial Analyst - Fixed Assets January 2003 - February 2004

Responsibility for managing Delphi Packard's $975 million in fixed

assets. The primary job function was the capitalization of the

construction work in progress general ledger account into the fixed

asset accounts on the company's books as work was completed. Once

the assets were capitalized, property tags were issued and movement

between locations was updated as needed for inventory and tax

purposes. Several customized software programs specifically created

for GM were used for work orders, purchasing, fixed assets and

general ledger. Microsoft Excel was used extensively. Other duties

included the monthly reconciliation of construction work in progress

and other general ledger accounts, monthly journal entries, approval

of work order spending as well as the annual preparation of the

lease, tax and depreciation budget.

Special Tool Analyst January 2000 - December 2002

Responsibility for reviewing tooling purchase requisitions and work

orders for proper account classification and availability of funds.

Maintained tool ledger to support special tool spending, billing and

amortization. Issued tool bills as required and performed allied

tooling sales confirmations as requested. Other duties included the

preparation of month end closing, reconciliation of tooling to

general ledger, and the annual preparation of the tool budget.

Copper Analyst - Cost Accounting March 1995 - December 1999

Coordinated Delphi Corporation Copper Toll Program. Reconciled and

valued Delphi Corporation's copper inventory with value in excess

of $15 million. Monitored supplier activity with Delphi

Corporation's bailed copper. Identified and participated in the

recovery of a 6% loss totaling $300,000 in relation to the

activity of one supplier. Forecasted copper value on a monthly

basis. Guided the Delphi Packard Electric Systems LIFO reporting

process.

General Motors Acceptance Corporation - Grand Rapids, Michigan October

1985 - February 1995

Assistance Accounting Manager December 1988 - February 1995

Assisted the Accounting Manager with all technical aspects of

operations and supervision. Provided necessary information to

employees and ensured all employees' training coursers were completed.

Responsible for cross training employees to ensure adequate coverage

in event of absences. Responsible for inspection of department

mechanics and exceptions discussed with employees. Plans established

with employees to remove performance difficulties. Prepared and

conducted annual performance reviews. Other duties included the

preparation of month end reports, processing of dealer credits, and
