As an inventory control management specialist my responsibilities include – With minimal direction and supervision, ensuring that the general merchandise truck is unloaded and the

inventory on the truck is sorted into correct pre-determined zone locations; Separate special freight as instructed on what to bin and what to send out to the floor; Bin all over stock

merchandise according to type and store in predetermined location. By the use of a Gemini hand held computer inventory system; pick merchandise to be sent out to the floor to be

stocked buy floor associates. Receive shipments of alcoholic beverages, count the cases and verify the paperwork matches the number counted, ensure the vendor stocks the

shelves, then provide driver with paper work to get paid at time of delivery. Ensure that high value electronic shipments were accurate at time of delivery, lock them in the electronic

cage and turn in the paperwork to the office. Use computer or smart system to look up when merchandise is due in to the store or look up work schedule. Daily get all equipment and

supplies necessary organized and in place to begin the days tasks. Suggest solutions to space issues. Ensure that the alerts are correct, and finished in a timely manner. Complete

the sales floor count on each type of merchandise the system has created, Complete all the backroom counts that go along with the sales floor counts. Complete and finalize all the

bin audits in a timely manner. Complete all the department picks the systems and sales associates have created. Ensure that all the picks are sent out to the right areas in the store.

Bin the over stock from the general merchandise truck which comes in overnight. Complete management assigned tasks and special projects. Provide customer service as needed.

As a sales associate my responsibilities include – With minimal direction and minimal supervision, design, stock, monitor and maintain displays of merchandise from my area of

responsibility. Use computer or smart system to look up when merchandise is due in to the store or look up work schedule. Daily get all equipment and supplies necessary, organized

and in place to begin daily tasks. Suggest solutions to space issues to lead worker. Dust product on the shelf, zone shelves, make the aisle look neat and the shelves look full.

Ensure that all new products are put on the correct shelf. Bin all over stock in the back room. Use the Gemini pricing gun as needed to complete product display. Take instruction

from department manager/assistant manager. As part of the safety team I ensure there are no obstacles or spills in your area as well as the entire store so that customers can have

a safe shopping environment and the workers can have a safe work environment. Assist in other areas as needed such as cart retrieval or carryout assistance. Provide customer

service as required ensuring that customer finds what they need and has the most information possible about the product.

Working at Walmart is a very face paced environment, there are time schedules that I have met on a daily basis and changes in guidance and direction often that have allowed me to

be flexible and accommodating.
